Study of the Word
Our Women’s Ministry Mission is to develop a dynamic group of women who know they are and know who their God is. We want to create a hunger & thirst to seek Him and His desires. We desire to lead women to embrace the great confidence and hope of their identity in Jesus Christ and to claim and enjoy satisfaction in Him.
We are committed to supporting the growth of women who desire to exemplify biblical womanhood to the glory of God.
Men's Ministry
Our purpose is the mobilize men in the Body and community to become sincere and powerful men of valor who are filled with integrity, faith, and commitment to God. You are invited to join this dynamic group of men.
Children's Ministry
Our purpose is to provide Christ-centered leadership focused on the spiritual development of children, youth, and families of PCC. The PCC Children’s Ministry strives to educate, equip and exhort through the Word of God.
Our Goals:
-
To provide positive activities throughout the year.
-
To serve children by teaching them to know and love God and His Word.
-
To foster Christ-centered relationships among the adults, children, and teachers.
Our Children’s Ministry assembles Sundays during Sunday worship for ages 2 to 12 years of age.
Prayer Ministry
Our purpose focuses on the power of prayer, healing and deliverance for our church and our community.
To develop a relationship with the almighty God. To strengthen and empower the people to receive more understanding through our most holy faith. “But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,” - Jude 1:20 KJV
Our prayer relationship with God is enhanced through weekly prayer session, church programs and prayer workshops, conferences and prayer breakfasts.
“Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” James 5:16 KJV
Writing Ministry
The PCC Scroll and PCC Writing Group are part of the Writing Ministry. We have many writers at the church, and we have produced two anthologies, Illuminations and The Outpouring, that are available on Amazon. In addition, we have a team of editors. We are excited to where we can go from here.
“And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. Webster's Bible Translation. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it,” Habakkuk 2:2.
PCC Scroll
The PCC Scroll is a quarterly newsletter founded in 2002.
Mission
Spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ and equipping the People of God through the written word.
The PCC Writing Ministry was founded in 2018 to serve the many writers of PCC. The group meets twice a month.
Mission
To create a safe place for writers to honestly and freely express themselves and create works that will encourage, uplift and edify the reader, while allowing the writer to acknowledge where they are.
Vision
Accept, walk, and grow in our writing gifts.
Outreach Ministry
Our Mission is to restore hope and provide opportunities for people to become all that God intends them to be. Our focus is to serve vulnerable children, teens and families in our community.
Our Vision
The Outreach Ministry’s vision is dedicated to putting the mission into action by providing a variety of charitable and human services. Our Koinonia Harvest of non-perishable food items supports our local food banks. Our Project: Isaiah 5 supports our local community by collecting clothes and hygiene items for donation to our local shelters.
Usher/Greeter Ministry
Ushers and greeters serve as doorkeepers, watchmen, hosts and greeters to the congregation and visitors.
Mission:
Ushers and greeters are the first people encountered when entering the sanctuary. We strive to provide a loving and welcoming
greeting as people enter the sanctuary.
We endeavor to ensure that order is kept during service and that the needs of the congregation are graciously and loving met.
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked,” Psalm 84:10 NIV.
Music Ministry
PCC’s music ministry team is dedicated to glorifying God through music by allowing the Holy Spirit to move freely as we worship Him in spirit and truth. We strongly believe break-through and healing take place through joyful song. We believe praise and worship can move God and bring Heaven to Earth. We love to celebrate the risen King!
Our purpose is to bring all generations together for a time of praise and worship unto God! Through worship, we create an atmosphere where God can speak to His people and send refreshing to them.
We base our praise with the word of God in Psalm 150:1-6 (KJV):
Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
We love to worship and encourage you to join us!
